Private Doggy Play Centre
Why use our playground?
Our playground has a trampoline, paddling pools, see saw, dog walk, tractor tyres, tunnels sand pits and a swing! There is also a hose to fill water bowls, paddling pools and give your dog a rinse.
Poo bags and bins are provided and the playground is entirely secure with a high stone wall and internal fences.

Available to hire for just £10 per 50 minutes
6 – 8pm Monday to Thursday
8am – 8pm Friday to Sunday

Frequently Asked Questions
A maximum of 8 dogs and 3 adults applies for the private hire of the space.
Anyone found to be in breach of these terms will be liable for the event/commercial pricing.
For events please contact enquiries@aliciashouseofpaws.co.uk directly as different terms and pricing applies for large group and commercial bookings.
Upon receipt of payment, an email will be sent to you containing the key box code which is on the main door so that you can access the key for the door.
The location can be found most easily with Google Maps – just search for Alicia’s House of Paws and park right outside the door!
Terms and Conditions of Private Hire – Alicia’s House of Paws (Scotland)
These Terms and Conditions govern the private hire of the facilities at Alicia’s House of Paws, a business operating in Scotland. By hiring the facility, you agree to the following:
1. General Use
1.1. The hirer agrees to use the premises responsibly and respectfully.
1.2. A maximum limit of 8 dogs and 3 adults applies for the private hire of the playground.
1.3. The premises must be left in a clean and tidy state, with all waste disposed of correctly. This includes:
1.4. All dog waste must be collected and placed in the provided waste bins.
1.5. All rubbish placed in the bins with the lids replaced on top.
1.6. Paddling pools must be emptied after use.
1.7. All play equipment must be returned to its original place after use.
2. Keys and Security
Upon leaving, the hirer must ensure:
2.1. The door is locked securely.
2.2. The keys are returned to the key box immediately.
2.3. The code on the key box is scrambled once the keys are returned.
2.4. Hirers do not have access to the summer house, this is for staff use only.
3. Supervision and Safety
3.1. The hirer is fully responsible for the safety and supervision of all persons and animals attending the session.
3.2. Alicia’s House of Paws accepts no liability for:
3.2.1. Any injury to persons or animals occurring during the hire period.
3.2.2. Any incident arising from failure to supervise dogs or people properly.
3.2.3. All dogs using the facility must be well-behaved, non-aggressive, and appropriately vaccinated.
4. Damage and Liability
4.1. The hirer is financially responsible for:
4.1.1. Any damage to the facilities, including but not limited to fencing, summer house or play equipment.
4.1.2. Any loss or breakage of equipment.
4.2. Any damage must be reported immediately to Alicia’s House of Paws. Failure to report damage may result in further charges or permanent exclusion from future use.

5. Cancellations and Refusals
5.1. Alicia’s House of Paws reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings at its sole discretion, particularly if these Terms and Conditions are breached.
5.2. No refunds will be provided for missed sessions or early departure due to misconduct or damage caused.
6. Legal Framework
6.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
By making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

You will then receive a response confirming or denying the request, providing alternative timings if denied, and a payment link.
Upon receipt of payment, you will receive an email to confirm and containing the code for the keybox to gain entry to the playground.
You have exclusive use of the playground for 50 minutes from your booking time. There will be no other dogs or people in the area.
We use CCTV to ensure compliance with the timings of bookings but should there be any issues please send us a WhatsApp message to, or call 0131 560 6773.

What Do We Charge?
£10 per 50 minutes with each session starting on the hour from 6pm to 8pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 8pm Friday to Sunday.

Directions from Danderhall/The Wisp;
Head towards Sherifhall Park and Ride, cross over the roundabout past the park and ride entrance. Look for a stone wall on your left and turn in just before that onto a tarmac path. Enter at the blue door with our logo painted purple on it.
Directions from the bypass;
At the Sherifhall roundabout, take the exit for A7 (N) to Danderhall or the Hospital. Drive past the white low fence on your right, once you see a long stone, single-story building on your right, you are getting close. Just past the stone garden wall, with the large roundabout sign on your right, take a right and pull in onto the tarmac path. Enter at the blue door on your right with our logo painted purple on it.
